I really like this grapefruit juicer. I love products with attention to detail. The silicone ring on the bottom to keep it from slipping while juicing is what prompted me to purchase this among the many others listed here. Even if it is more expensive, I am very satisfied with this product. (and it's made in Japan!) What's a minus for some is a plus for me. I love my grapefruit juice with lots of pulp! So I like that it doesn't have a pulp filter.

I have always preferred a manual citrus press to an electric one. The reason for this is that electric juicers are never powerful enough to actually get the job done.
