I was born and raised in Florida. I've been drinking juice all my life. This little juicer is the best manual juicer I know. It is very difficult to find a similar manual juicer with a large grapefruit expander. Also, the expander ribs have a good margin, which increases the efficiency of the juicing process while reducing the amount of effort required. Each of these essential qualities is hard to find in a manual grapefruit juicer, and this juicer has both in abundance! This juicer is also beautiful, easy to clean with a simple rinse, and the size is perfect for those with limited storage space. For those who subtracted stars for the size of the juicer, this really isn't a problem. Just pour the contents of the juice into your glass after squeezing each half of the grapefruit, no big deal. There's no strainer either, but that's not a problem either, because the pulp that goes into the container is the soft, juicy, delicious grapefruit pulp. Hard pulp or skin either won't separate from the grapefruit or conveniently collects in the juicer's ridges for easy rinsing as you peel. And if you don't want any fruit pulp, just place a small sieve over the glass before pouring it. The cute little handle has a thumb recess and there is a premium silicone ring on the underside of this juicer to keep it from slipping on the countertop. Everything has been thought of with this juicer. If you just want to quickly squeeze some grapefruits for you and/or your loved ones in the morning for a nice cold glass of pure bliss, there is no other easier and more effective juicer than this one. And the price is impressive. Tip: keep grapefruits in the fridge so your morning glass of juice is already pre-chilled. :)
