Works great with computer components

I have an automation controller that uses MEGA. This Mega has an integrated web server that allows you to control and configure operating parameters. also uses an SD card I hooked this shield up to a new Mega with firmware and it booted right away. Build quality is great, no bad solder joints etc. No time was spent making the firmware compatible with the new 5500 Ethernet chipset due to some operational aspects of the controller code. This shield is very reasonably priced and uses the 5100 chipset, which Arduino no longer makes.
