Just get it. for LED and neon lamps

If you're not sure whether to buy cheaper lamps or pay twice the price for branded goods. Just take the cheaper ones, the app and controller are extensive and the product is well made. The adhesive is strong enough, but I'd still recommend getting stronger tape.
