Before I got my new bike in October 2020 I never wore cycling gloves. However, the handlebars on my new bike are a bit different and my hands are very sweaty. After much deliberation, I chose these gloves and couldn't be happier. These gloves are so wonderful that I also bought a pair for my husband. When I first put them on I was concerned that the palm padding would be too thick. But it really isn't, and the rubberized padding material keeps my hands secure on the handlebars. These gloves also prevent my hands from sweating because they breathe really well! And they fit perfectly, providing the perfect minimalist cycling glove. I never want to ride a bike without her.
