. because it's more like 3 1/2 stars here. First, the price was good - $112 for a 22-inch high-resolution monitor is pretty decent - and everything looks really good to begin with. The backlighting is even and bright, and the colors are beautiful and vibrant. The problem occurs when leaning to the side and everything takes on a yellow tint, which never happens with my 22-inch HDTV. To be honest, it's only annoying on a screen that's mostly white (like the overview page here at Revain) - it's not as obvious on color screens. The menu buttons are also annoying - they're touch-sensitive and don't always work the way you want them to. I can't really adjust the brightness and contrast either, I can only switch between "Normal" and "Eco" modes. However, the low cost and fast shipping make it better than the 3 I could give. UPDATE: After about 6 years it wheezed. Did a weird power up and then finally stopped working. A friend suggested that there might be a capacitor in the power supply - he was right. Replaced and everything worked perfectly. It's still on my desk but has mostly been replaced with a larger Dell monitor with a better stand. But 8 years and still driving (with a little help) talk about something.
