Review on Nordic Pure 16X25X1 Pleated Furnace Air Filters by Joel Gumbiner

I have been ordering these filters for myself and several other family members for many years. As some others have mentioned (see some if other pics were posted side by side) things changed with my last order of my merv12 filters. What was once a good solid box and filter that felt extremely strong and well built has now become a versatile/cheap filter. I actually called Nordic Pure and they told me they now have to make their filters in factories and apparently the new factory has a completely different way of building the filter frame (although they insisted that the parts that do the filtration are the same) and packaging, the final product. Hopefully it's just growth issues for the company but if future orders continue to show this build quality I will definitely be looking for a new brand! Until the company can set some standards for their investments, I can't recommend them much longer.
