Bought to replace an old anchor light on a cabin cruiser. It is very bright and consumes little energy. I had to invent a mount for it (on the front edge of the solar array), but the way the base is arranged turned out to be easy. I also smeared the threads with a bit of lube before sealing them to keep water out and to make it easier to open should I ever need it. It has been exposed to all weather conditions in Colorado and Wyoming 24 hours a day since June and so far has proven to be completely reliable.
