This is a good film for the price and I would call it a medium thickness. Assuming this is correct I am happy with the UV protection on offer. My only downside - and this is pretty important - is that it's very difficult to install without bubbles. Even after making eight sheets of glass, I could not achieve an even bond no matter how I prepared the glass and applied the film. I followed the instructions in the email, there were two of us installing it and no matter what, there were always small bubbles or dust particles that couldn't be removed. I wouldn't use this on a front door or window but for a less visible area it's good value.
