I always wait a bit before criticizing things like this. I need them to prove durability. This little speaker has turned out so well that I'm ordering a second one. for my radio station. There's no mute button or that tinny sound you sometimes hear from external speakers. The older one never had that vibrating noise, which I had with more expensive speakers a year later. The feel and construction are durable and the mounting bracket holds the speaker securely. This is a great addition to any ham radio or cellular setup.
