While I'm not really a fan of curved monitors, I wanted to upgrade my BenQ GL2460 (which now serves as my secondary display) and came across the cheapest 27-inch QHD monitor I could find, running at 144Hz. Read reviews and then bought After about a month I'm mostly satisfied with this display (especially for the price), but there are a few shortcomings, namely a rather low peak brightness at 250 nits, afterimage and pixel sticking. I can handle the brightness as I'm not used to being brighter (my BenQ has the same peak brightness) and I can also get past slow pixels and stuck pixels (I can only notice it off axis) which is my opinion after definitely is a great price. However, if you're really trying to get a display that lives up to the bill, it's not. It also doesn't support HDR due to the brightness and FreeSync is a bit wonky in my experience, so I turned it off almost immediately. I was very impressed with the refresh rate. However, there have been huge improvements in gaming in this regard, and the vivid colors this display is capable of showing make it quite attractive for some casual Discord movie watching parties. Overall, I definitely recommend this monitor, especially if you're looking for a decent upgrade on a budget.
