Of course, none of this matters if the person knows you have cords and brings along a fancy bolt cutter. I had never seen a product like this so I was delighted to install it (it took 5 minutes); It's a better deterrent than the more popular Kensington slot locks, but it leaves a gray lock on whatever you wear, so choose wisely. Ultimately, like most inexpensive security devices, it's about intelligence, not product effectiveness. If you want more, you can add some green and get one of those "MI2" laser systems. Relax.
