Good product PH above 8 to 7.0 after about 48 hours. First I put a bin liner on the filter, lowering the PH a bit, but I put the bin liner between the charcoal and Bio-Max, let the PH drop quickly, and the nitrates are as stable as last test, mostly not. I will remove the message pouch after installing PH Stable and then reuse it. For 29 gallons I used about 100 grams of peat. Don't waste your money on PH down liquids from the markets, these branded liquids do nothing, didn't help my PH. My tap water is safe now, the fish on my ranch look happy.
