I bought these pads as extras so I don't have to stop wiping around with my new Bissell steam mop, letting it cool to remove the pad, and then hand washing (which is good, but is not ideal). I now have 4 smooth, 4 cleaning pads and can wash, hand wash and re-wear them all together in one load with no waiting. I'm sure they will be a lot cleaner after machine washing which makes life a lot easier. Worth the price.
