Review on ๐Ÿ’ป Supercharge Your MacBook: OWC 480GB Aura Pro X2 SSD Upgrade Kit with Tools & Envoy Pro Enclosure (Mid 2013-2017 MacBook Air & Late 2013-Mid 2015 MacBook Pro) by Amanda Lemons

Revainrating 5 out of 5

No problem cooler in 13 " rMBP, early 2015

AuraPro x2, 1TB bundle, price of OWC is higher than other brands. But I didn't want to risk compatibility problem with my rMBP since I have OWC- Products know made for Apple computers Blade SSD works fine and cool on Mojave v10.14.5 with NVMExpress 4ch width with TRIM support Although the read/write speed is a bit better (20mps more) than my 4 year old Blade - a 256GB OEM drive This old machine. But I'd rather make it work than use an M.2 adapter with a cheaper M.2 SSD.The thing about this kit is that it uses an OEM -SSD as the USB external drive looks good but I wish it was better in size and with the TB2 port.

Pros
  • I'm looking forward to
