I recently adopted a 48 inch pony who is best described as "petite". I was confused about what size to order in the fly mask. I have decided on a piglet/small pony. I put it on her and am very happy that it fits perfectly. The velcro is very wide and fits well. The area around the ears is made of soft, elastic material, but note that the forelock does not open. It's not a problem for me, the hair doesn't discolour. The mesh has nice folds to keep the material out of your eyes. I will definitely buy again. Good value for money!
