This mask works great - we put it on the horse out in the pasture. She seems to like it - she lowers her head so I can put it on. Repels flies and mosquitoes. Darts in the eye area allow you to slide the fabric so it doesn't touch the eyes. The Velcro closure makes it easy to put on and take off while still being secure. Once it came off and got dirty but washed off easily with a hose. Wears well - no visible signs of wear after several months of daily use.

I recently adopted a 48 inch pony who is best described as "petite". I was confused about what size to order in the fly mask. I have decided on a piglet/small pony. I put it on her and am very happy that it fits perfectly. The velcro is very wide and fits well. The area around the ears is made of soft, elastic material, but note that the forelock does not open. My filly got rid of it in one day. Her other remains, but not this one. She still had one from late summer and she's still going well. This broke after a week. It doesn't even feel well made. It's a cheap material and the mesh got twisted in transit so I almost caught her in the eye. I don't like that she has thin fabric at the top around her ears. Well it has a serious design flaw. The mask is good but the fabric of the ears and forelock is so crappy. It sags, tears, and finally closes its eyes! The material that masks the flies is good for your face and nose. But the sheer stretchy shit on top makes no sense and devalues the piece. I've only had it for 1 month and nothing but problems.
