Review on Bernat 16103636004 Blanket Ombre Eggplant by Angela Rodriguez

If I could give this yarn 4 1/2 stars I would. There are some parts that go well with ombre, but not all skin is fully ombre. Overall I LOVE it! I bought yarn for the ombre quilt from another seller and I love this yarn too! I'm knitting a blanket for someone. I use a 10mm hook and use 2 different threads. I use navy ombre yarn and vanilla baby blanket yarn from the same company. The entire blanket is made of super dense semi-double stitches. My ceiling is 5 feet wide. With a 5 foot wide blanket, you'll have about 1-5 rows of each color. The first color went 1 full row. The second row lasted 2 full rows. There was a knot connecting the dark blue to the lighter blue, so there was no blending between the two colors, but all of the colors blended nicely. I had to cut off part of the yarn to save for later because it wouldn't finish another row. One skein of yarn gives this project a length of about 8 inches. If you are crocheting or knitting a smaller project, you can get a little more length. I love this thread though! I don't regret using it. I will get another skein of this yarn and continue to use it for this project. It's SO SOFT! It is much softer than Bernata's baby blanket yarn and very warm! Another thing you might want to know is that when I ordered my second skein of blue ombre yarn, it wasn't the same color as the first one, which in some ways is a good thing because I think it's easier will be able to make you a blanket with this unique pattern :) However, if you order this yarn, don't expect the colors in each ball to be in the same color sequence. The cream color I use is not included in this skein. The cream color is a bee yarn for a baby blanket called Vanilla. I definitely recommend this ombre yarn and when I'm done with this project I'm thinking maybe I could make another blanket for myself and use the orange ombre blanket :) Update: you seem to agree with your reviews read what is good! the third lot of yarn matches the second lot better
