Perfection. on knitting needles

Totally beautiful, pleasant to the touch, silky yarn! I plan to knit blankets with this yarn. So completely satisfied and delighted with this yarn and the seller! This is the best chunky yarn you will ever find! I advise everyone to buy this yarn! 😁👌🏼🤰🏼👍🏻👍🏻

Pros
  • I hold my fists
Cons

Knots in the yarn on the cut

The quality of this yarn is above average. There are several knots in each skein where the yarn has been split (cut or otherwise) and knotted again. Because it's multicolored, it looks like all the colored threads are knitted together. In addition, each ball has a different color pattern, so there is no coherent pattern when knitted together. It's mild enough but overall very unsatisfying and if I could get my money back after working on this project for almost two weeks I would.

  • Elegant design

Nice color but thin

I really like the coloring of this yarn. It's so pretty and makes striping easy. The problem is that this yarn is much thinner than any other Bernat Blanket yarn I have used. It's listed as a super bulky weight, but it's actually closer to bulky. I'm not sure if you can tell from the picture but there is a noticeable difference between the white row (which was made with vanilla quilting yarn) and the rest. There is also a noticeable difference between the purple rows. The dark purple was made…

Super soft chunky yarn

Bernat blanket in burgundy ombre was the perfect color combination for the basket I crocheted for a gift. The yarn itself was super soft and easy to work with after plucking my first try and increasing my needle size (to loosen up my work which tends to be tight). Specifically for my one skein, each color was about the same length. (5 rows of 80 sbn) and there was only one knot close enough to the end that I started with that it could be removed without affecting the project. In my opinion…

  • Great selection

Not ombre. in Knitting & Crochet

Very disappointed, can't say it ruins the sweater, it's a size 3 sweater for a little boy. This is not a true hombre yarn if you notice the bottom of the sweater is medium dark then navy. There are a lot of knots that are close together when I got to navy it wasn't that much and that was tied the lightest blue I used for the strands of it and the same as the navy was tied to the lightest blue bound which I am working on the outside of the skin. I had to use the lightest blue for the hood and…

This is not real ombre! Knotted

Tried to make a nice afghan for my gd. I loved the feel of the Berat yarn and she chose an ombre skein color that would go well with her colors in college. However, I'm on my 3rd skein and have at least 4 left. I was very, very disappointed with this "ombre". This is not a true disappearance in a strand. So far, each strand has had at least 4 knots, where the color gradually "merges". If I could I would go for a solid color in this dark cranberry burgundy but I ended up with the first strand, I

Has ombre parts. I like it the most :)

If I could give this yarn 4 1/2 stars I would. There are some parts that go well with ombre, but not all skin is fully ombre. Overall I LOVE it! I bought yarn for the ombre quilt from another seller and I love this yarn too! I'm knitting a blanket for someone. I use a 10mm hook and use 2 different threads. I use navy ombre yarn and vanilla baby blanket yarn from the same company. The entire blanket is made of super dense semi-double stitches. My ceiling is 5 feet wide. With a 5 foot wide…
