Some issues - clothing and accessories

My cat is 13.5 from base of neck to base of tail and weighs about 13.5 pounds so I bought a LARGE one. The quality of the material in general is okay for the price, which surprised me. My cat is wearing this right now, and while the rest of the outfit fits, the hole in the back legs (front crease) looks irritated. There must be a larger opening considering a large one. The area under the tail, i.e. the genital area, is open enough for him to use the litter box unhindered. it's for a fight. I don't know whether to cut them or not; You'll probably have to turn it inside out and sew it up. The collar is shorter than many sweaters, yet didn't catch on the bottom teeth like other brands with wider collars do. **** End of the day: The cat's bottom fang got stuck in the collar and the stitching came undone so quickly. The latch was in the collar itself, not the seam, but one tug was enough to undo the seam. Pooh. With the problem on the rear legs described above, I will have to think about another purchase, now the seams come undone easily and the velcro hangs on the fabric. All this is not very good now; He needs a wardrobe with at least 6 more of these as he has a long standing OCD problem and will need to wear this shirt for the rest of his life. Slit seam, velcro pulls the fabric and leaves a lot of stretch in the fabric. Already looks worn out. Appreciate it with your back to the drawing board.
