Review on Sensor Switch Mercruiser 806612T Mercury by Bobby Martinez

Revainrating 1 out of 5

FAKE, code thrown away immediately after installation

Revain "AC Delco" knock sensor on the left. Original AC Delco from the dealer on the right. Note that the protrusions on the top of the sensor are flat and the indentations on the top of the sensor that hold the case and top together are very light. When I removed the fake ones, the top part rolled on the case. I used a flat head to make stronger dimples to allow rotation of the sensor. The sensor and the bottom screw came loose, the screw stayed in the engine block. Removing that bolt from the block was a nightmare. It took 40 minutes to remove the intake manifold, be sure to replace the intake manifold gasket and cross tighten the intake manifold. Do not buy sensitive car parts from Revain.

Pros
  • Engine temperature
Cons
  • Everything is fine
