I bought this to use on a 2004 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9 Cummins 4x4 truck. With these trucks, the distance between the blade and the steering shaft bushing is small. This puller fits between the bipod arm and socket where others cannot. However, this puller does not slide far enough to properly align the propeller shaft with the steering shaft bushing. This is because the tapered part of the puller body is not deep enough. I had to use a dremel with a round head to make it deeper. It fits fine after that, but I had to remove about 3/16 inch to make it work. Also, you must work very slowly with this puller once it is firmly seated on the steering shaft. Work with a puller and a heavy hammer. or dead blow The puller is strong enough to remove the lever, but I had to buy a second one because the first one pulled the threads inside the body. the work intended and well done in view of the foregoing.
