The carrier I currently have for my cat to take to the vet is too small for him and he looks uncomfortable. I also like that this one folds up because we don't need it most of the year and it doesn't take up much space in the garage. I found it really easy to put together, well put together and really impressed with the looks. It's also more than I expected. The funny thing is when I installed it I jokingly put my cat bed in it to see if he could get in. He's usually VERY wary of pockets and stashes when he sees me carrying them. He jumped right in and made himself comfortable! Now he's been sleeping there for the last week and I don't have the courage to get him out of there. I think it's like a little safe cave for him to stay in for now. My baby also crawls in and snuggles on it. You can't tell now because he just shaved in summer, but when he has long hair and chubby in winter, he looks like a giant cat! I think he's really digging his new home, so consider a pet house as well. Zippers together, all mesh zippers roll up and close with Velcro to allow side to remain open. It also has a fairly strong lining at the bottom. Reminds me of a baby travel cot.
