I was very impressed with their quality at a low price and ease of installation. I've replaced my old ones which were completely worn out and unserviceable with these and I'm prepared to have to close the trunk lid to keep it from slamming shut. It only took me about 10 minutes to swap them out and it would have been less if I hadn't spent a little more time cleaning the shock absorber knobs to put them back in place. All you need is a small flat head screwdriver or I just used a small pickaxe to be able to pry back the clip holding the old ones. The new ones just snapped on.
