Review on ๐Ÿ”ช Benriner Super Slicer: Top-Quality Beige Slicer with 4 Japanese Stainless Steel Blades by Lisa Walton

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Probably the best mandolin style slicer made at any price point.

There was another slicer not unlike this one. I paid seven dollars for it at a pottery shed in Mobile, Al, 30 years ago. The thought was just great. He finally broke down. And I just found out it wasn't that great when I got this one to replace it. From time to time you come across something like Knipex pliers that you know can't get any better than what you already have. This large Benrinner Slicer is one of them. Cannot be upgraded. It is already here. There is nothing better. This one will never break. It's wide enough. Wider than my old slicer and probably wider than I'll ever need. The narrower model fits most people and if I were to reorder, I would choose the narrower one. I should mention that it does a great job of slicing and chopping, but if you want to do fancy things like slicing potatoes for fries waffles, you'll need a different variety. For everyday cutting and shredding it is ideal and gets the job done very quickly and it is also very easy to adjust the thickness of the slices or the width of the shredder.
