I have used port cargo belts on a few motorcycle rides in an enclosed trailer. After buying a $100,000 show bike I thought it would be a good idea to get the "best" so I bought two pairs of these. Heading to Dayton Bike Week I had four straps on each bike, two powertyes, two cargo brands. One of the Powertyes tore the seams causing the Harley to fall onto the show bike. Cargo in port held up well, now I'm hauling bikes back and just noticed other Powerty's are starting to tear at the seams. I added extra brands because I don't trust these straps. The damage caused by these straps will cost me thousands to repair and no, they are not too tight. I travel all over the place and have never had a harness break and I always wear my harness the same way. A more expensive or wider strap does not make them a better strap. I'm sure the company doesn't give a damn or blame me, so the best I can do is warn other potential customers that they have one weak spot - the stitching. VERY DISAPPOINTED!
