This set contains 10 makeup brushes, 6 blender sponges and a CHEAP but flexible PLASTIC holder. The kit also includes two adhesive tapes: one is attached to the bottom of the holder, the other is optional. Because the tape is double-sided, this holder can be attached to the counter if desired. This is a nice brush set but not of the highest quality. The bristles are slightly soft and definitely have a synthetic and shiny feel to them. They also smell like paint thinner. However, they do not shed. Their bristles are nice to the touch and work just like many other brushes I've tried in the past. I love that they include brow brushes and fan brushes as they don't typically come with brush sets. In addition to these brushes, six blending sponges are included and I consider them the star of the set. There are three flat-sided sponges that are great for a smooth application. The other three sponges are typical egg-shaped sponges that are good for blending or for applying heavy makeup. They feel good, blend well and feel soft against my skin, and they don't smell as weird as others I've used before. The bracket is good, but made of plastic. The current price of $13.99 ($21.99 minus $8) for 17 packs (10 brushes, 6 blenders, 1 holder) is very reasonable for this as it is 0.82 cents each. I find this set perfect for the aspiring aspiring makeup artist. However, be aware that the brush heads are not the best quality due to the synthetic feel and paint thinner smell.
