update: almost a month later. I have to say, this thing is damn loud. I've brought the tent to my office and I can't hear my own thoughts while I'm working. I bought a vivosun manual adjuster and when you take it away it gets MUCH louder. I had to reschedule. Also, don't think about attaching it to any house structure because the vibration will make it audible throughout the house. I don't recommend it except for the price. Rating to 2 stars. I said it. I made a terrible fan joke. This thing moves some serious air. The only complaints I have after a few days of use is that it's a little louder than I thought it would be and I wish it had a variable speed switch built in rather than buying it separately. Overall this is a good, much cheaper alternative to many other options.
