I received these feeders for my 2 breeding finches. I would worry about running out of food and water while I'm on business or vacation. You did the job! They are in good condition and were easy to assemble. The one I use for water doesn't leak. Due to the fact that this breed of birds has a fast metabolism, they eat constantly. This feeder contains a lot of bird seed, and since it's stylized, they don't encase their seed in a shell. And don't dig to find their food. I have to clean the trough every few days because it stagnates and things inside can start to grow, but other than that my birds are happy!
