All five sets look great. Not disturbed by a slight whistle.
I work with a lot of devices that contain some sort of electroluminescent backlight, so I'm used to the barely audible squeaking that battery holders make. Each filament lit up perfectly on the first try without being overly bright, which is easy on my eyes in the dark compared to even my darkest LEDs. I'm not sure how I want to use my EL wire yet, although I have a few ideas including using it as underbody lights for my RC cars or maybe mimicking 1980's neon signs. Overall I am very satisfied with this five color EL wire harness.
