do not take this model
I bought this lock for our laptop. It worked once, but never again. So lucky it wasn't connected to a laptop. I couldn't unlock. I tried YouTube hack method for this block, it didn't work either. This is an older model. I spoke to Kensington Tech Support and they told me that this model is outdated and not as secure. I should get a newer model. Kensington offers very helpful technical support.
