Review on SCHRAIBERPUMP Submersible EXCLUSIVE Protection Impregnated Rough Plumbing by Adam Walsh

Revainrating 4 out of 5

the included "Splice Kit " sucks! Crimp connector and perforated rubber band?

The pump itself seemed to be everything it was! I added a check valve and lowered it down the chute after trying to get the docking tape to stick and finally sorting it out. I think it sticks to itself and you stretch it a bit to make a watertight seal. but with a deep hole all over the roll, what's the point? So you need to overlap more than half the width of the tape? . Give us some heat shrink tubing, please! and forget about crimp connectors. I soldered the wires and then wrapped them with tape. If I had known beforehand that the splice kit consisted of crimp connectors and rubber band, I would have gone to the hardware store and bought something better. and it was on hand when the pump arrived! YOU shot yourself in the knee boys! .The pump worked on the first try and has been running for 6 hours now and I expect it to last a few years. I expect everyone who installs this pump to throw away your splice kit, especially when you tell a customer that we recommend heat shrink tubing and solder joints, it's almost an admission that your splice kit excuse is rubbish! . but i had no choice we were without water in the house for 2 weeks i didn't want to wait another day. .as others have mentioned the seam of the wires is too small, yes they do! But it works! . Remember, this is 220V AC, not 110V, you can get by with smaller wires! everything is OK! but despite all my complaints i would definitely recommend this pump. no matter how long it takes! Decades I hope !LOL.Bob.Edit: It's been a few days and the gauge is set to 25/60 psi. and it works fine. I added an indicator light to the pressure switch to show when the pump is running. and it turns on and works for about 30 seconds and then turns off. it was done as I entered it. This is a BIG PUMP!
