Probably better there

Open the box and discard the screws. Even pre-drilled holes are not suitable for cheap screws. I used drywall screws. This allows my gate to drop a bit so it's no longer aligned. My gate weighs 18 pounds, so that's fine. On my first set, the spring failed during installation and I ended up in the third hole again. Replacing the cement via Revain wasn't a problem as always, but I think having a spare is better than returning the old set. failed I installed the slide latch plate on a level gate, now it falls off half an inch. I can get it to work, just not a gold install.
