The equipment is not original, but functional.
I was expecting an OEM part and got a damper that installed easily and didn't leak. If you examine the old damper you may see a hole in the original block that was not in the replacement. The original unit offered partial flush operation with no solid waste and saved even more water than the nominal 1.28 gallons per foot. This block doesn't do that. This device is offered by a company called Hibbent.
