Works best in legacy systems

I bought this to use with EA Sports Active to a) stop whipping myself in the face with a nunchaku string while boxing b) my hands no more tangling with string during boxing boxing time c) Stop pulling the nunchakus out of your leg holster while running d) Stop playing twister with the string and red resistance band when I was doing tricep pullbacks. He does all these things. Hooray! I have a few issues but to be honest I had the same issue with a wired nunchuck so I think it's more of a software issue than a hardware issue: a) On the track my speed can get a bit erratic - much more so as justified by anything tiny adjustment to my actual running speedb) Sometimes when he's doing squats or lunges he thinks I'm standing or crouching when I'm not. It's very rare but annoying c) I agree with the previous assessment that timing in boxing (or baseball) isn't perfect, but then again - this has happened to me with corded nunchucks too, so I guess it's a game ( I can't be). Also, there's a minor inconvenience that the adapter doesn't fit into the bottom of the Motion Plus adapter (at least not into its nice padded mount), so I had to take out the Motion Plus adapter and replace it with a nunchuck adapter. The remote now dangles a bit in the soft case, but honestly that's not enough to qualify as anything other than a mega-small annoyance. It looks like the remote battery is draining pretty quickly, but I have an Energizer charger. When I'm done, I just put the remote back on the mat and it's charged and ready for the next time I need to work out. The batteries in the nunchaku seem to last quite a while - I went through a 30 day training program without taking them out. Overall I am very happy that I bought it. If you think about it, I say go ahead.
