(1) They are higher quality than I expected. I expected thin, thin pieces; The parts of each frame are solid and strong. (2) I like a clean table, but I wanted my kids to be the center of attention. I placed them on the base of the monitor - they are unobtrusive but an eye catcher. (3) Ordinary paper prints match well but not exactly. I used vertical photo prints and centered the photo horizontally in the frame but placed it flush with the top of the frame. This left the least amount of dead space to the right and left of the photo and some dead space at the bottom. The dead space on the sides is negligible and the dead space underneath doesn't bother me/I don't notice since I'm sitting so close and looking down at an angle. Would recommend - very elegant, simple and attractive.
