In a short 60 days, the heel cup of the right shoe failed. I suspected my work shoes were causing the intense heel pain I was experiencing (steel toes on concrete) and bought numerous insoles and solutions to try to alleviate the issue. Only when putting on my shoes today, did I notice the padding of the heel cup bunched toward the ankle of the shoe, leafing the entirety of my heel unsecured and unsupported. Hey ASICS remember when you changed the GT-2000 line and everyone hated them? It would appear you’ve done it again. My feet hurt, my wallet is lighter, and now I get to try to find a replacement for shoes I have less than 90 days of wear time.
