True to the original

My bedroom (and front) doors are about 100 years old and have door handles installed. The brass is faded and has been repainted white by the family in the past. My wife saw it and it was the perfect replacement. We sanded the door, applied a fresh coat of paint and installed this door knob. It looks amazing. The old one fell out and the new one went in. I had to reverse the mechanism to make it work, which was easy as they have a tutorial video here on the site. The hardest part was getting the quill back because I'm not that handy. Also, it was easy to install. Highly recommend if you are looking to replace your old worn out loose one.
