Absolutely worth it!

Excellent mattress. We switched from a travel cot to this one as our daughter woke up too many times and slept in our bed. The mattress came rolled up, I unpacked it, no smell of gas, I put it in the cradle and by the end of the day it was basically restored. Started using the cot on the second day. Since then she has slept in her crib on this mattress every day. I can't confirm the waterproofness as we haven't had an accident yet and I also bought a waterproof mattress topper. Hope that helps!
