The good news: STRONG. Bad News: STRONG STRONG STRONG, magnet-like strength

I was a little worried that this tie magnet wasn't going to be strong enough. Finally, it has to go through the tie, the back of the tie, and the shirt. At this point, most magnets would have had a hard time, especially with thick ties. I put this tie magnet in and attached it to my tie and it is STRONG. Like STRONG STRONG. I was excited until I realized that this brought other problems. So far, the one day I wear a tie magnet, I've attached it to my washing machine (when I bend down to get something out before walking out the door). When I detached and removed the pyramid shaped portion from the washer, there was a permanent scratch on the washer, severe enough to cause the magnet to stick to the washer (tie magnet was fine). While working, I turned on my floor lamp, and as I approached the real lamp, I got stuck in the floor lamp. Before I took off my tie at home, I swept up a small mess and a metal broom attached to the tie clip. Every time it sticks to something, it's harder to break off than you think. I think this tie magnet is very cool and will not be returning it. I just want to say beware of wearing this with clients when you are around anything metallic as it can be a bit uncomfortable and this tie clip should be for work rather than everyday wearing of a tie , since they are attached to it at home many things.
