I bought this for my 3 year old for swimming lessons because he was so cold in the pool that he started chattering and shaking. It's small so I took size 2 which is tight but fits. I have to buy the next size up in a few months because he will soon outgrow it. It warms him well in the pool and even gives him extra buoyancy. He also wore it to the beach and it gives him comfort and protection from the salt and sand. Mom's Tip: When teaching your little one how to get dressed, have him put his feet down first, then tuck his arms in while using BOTH HANDS AT THE SAME TIME, hold him behind his back and then pull him over your shoulders. Saves you from some weird stuck elbows.
