These are plastic tubs. I use them for water and cleaning aquarium decorations and stones. They're not very strong and thick, but I don't notice them bending when full of water and they're easy to carry when full. So I'm satisfied with the quality. I am very disappointed that they are not gold. People who say they are golden may want to do a color comparison. These tubs are mustard yellow and not very inviting. I took them because of the color. Another disadvantage of online shopping. PS For cat lovers only, there are $40 cat-only tubs/bowls on Revain that seem to be very popular. I figured I could get my cat to use one of those cheap mustard baths. She hung out in one and played with her toys for a while. Didn't last.
