I bought my son a 3X after some other similar shirts at 2X were tight. He says 3X for this brand is less than 2X for others. The seller offered me a partial refund to keep the shirt. I agreed as it was an international order and it was easier and quicker than sending it back. I gave 4 stars instead of 2 or 3 for customer service. So if you are in the big and high range I would skip this. If you're in "standard" men's sizes, I'd go up a size, or maybe even 2. Otherwise, he likes the feel of them, says he's cooler in them than regular cotton t-shirts, and they stretch enough to put him on, they're just tighter than they should be.
