I bought this because my dog, a smooth terrier mix, loves warmth. SO much that she loves to sit or lie in the sun when the weather is over 100 degrees. She likes to be under a roof at night and will whine if she isn't covered (even though my wife and I have a fan). However, this coat saves dogs! She loves how it suits her, and she can mind her own business (regardless of what she's doing). I think I like that it doesn't even slow her down (she's just as free to move about as without) and is noticeably happier, especially when I'm walking her in the dark. I love that it also has reflective trim so cars can see it. My dog used to get excited when he saw me grab the leash, but now he gets really excited when I grab his coat. I highly recommend buying this for your dog!
