Let me preface that my mother is a jewel hunt! I bought this as a gift for my 90 year old mother who has dementia. I thought it might bring a ray of sunshine into her life on Mother's Day. She loves it so much that she wears it every day now because it's her favorite color and birthstone. She only takes it off when she goes to bed. She forgets she has him until she sees him in the morning and tells me all day how good he looks. So I bought her a matching earring for her birthday. She was over the moon with both and I think she forgets that she has other jewelry to wear. And when I show her the other ones she has, she just wants to put them on.
