Review on LG Electronics 27GN750 B Compatibility Adjustable 1920X1080P, 240Hz, Blue Light Filter by Michael Morgan

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The oil is smooth with minimal color loss

Replacing my old Ultragear 27GL850-B, this panel will never match the GL in image quality without its Nano Cell layer. That being said, the 96Hz refresh rate jump made it a worthy victim in my books. When the GL switched to monitor #2, there were slight lateral differences. The overall color temperature of the GN (this monitor) appears warmer in comparison and every shade of red is dimmer, as expected from a panel without Quantum/Nano Cell technology. 240Hz is exactly what you would expect. It's not a huge jump to refresh rates above 60Hz, but you're seeing a comeback. Remember I can come back if needed. The menu navigation is simple and comfortable, the base is stable and shock-resistant, shaking is minimal. Unless you're very picky about the color, you might not even notice the absence of the nano-layer.

Pros
  • HDR10 compatible
Cons
  • The monitor stand is too wobbly.
