Not MERV 13: smoke filter
My old filter from another brand was MERV 12 and it had a lot more pleats and the material was thicker. I could put them at something like MERV 8 if that's the case. They are thin and have no wrinkles. I definitely don't think it's MERV 13. Other than that, they seem to be decent filters.
