I really like the platform and the ladder. My only suggestion is to sand/roughen (or maybe use veterinary tape) the top of the platform to keep the bird from slipping off. My toddler almost swam away from jumping around in his cage and the surface was pretty slick. I just took some sandpaper and sanded it down just enough to make it less smooth. He didn't want to get into that just yet. He still has to get used to his new surroundings. I've only had him for 2 weeks. I hope he tries again. Now he's very nervous about everything.
