This is the best stone for general purpose knife sharpening. As a gunsmith, Norton India stones are used to create precise trigger and trigger faces. This is my favorite and I have used it for many years for shaping and sharpening knives and cutting tools in the engine room. As a master gunsmith published in the National Gazette, I can recommend this stone. Great for sharpening any tool or blade, look no further. You can spend more, but you can't buy better!
