I don't make pancakes that often, but sometimes I wish I had this dispenser handy. It really cuts prep and cooking time in half. Everything is mixed right in the dispenser and when you push (or pull) the tongue pours exactly as much as needed. It's less messy than the usual practice of using a pouring spoon. Despite being plastic it feels durable and like I said I don't plan on using it that much. It cleans up well in the dishwasher, but the small part that closes with a tongue gets stuck with food particles because it can't be held open. So keep an eye on it when cleaning. Overall, this is a really handy tool that even kids will enjoy using.
